STATEMENT OF BELIEFS AND ACTIONS OF CHRIST-CENTERED MINISTRIES FOR WORLDWIDE WORSHIP

As a ministry dedicated to life in Jesus Christ, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, according to all tenets laid out in the Bible and our By-Laws, we view ourselves as called of God to share in the mutual care and practical co-operation in carrying out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. We affirm our commitment to both local church autonomy and inter-church cooperation as biblical norms for our life and ministry. Here is a list of the beliefs and actions of the ministry as a whole, along with some of its outreach components, reflecting our By-Laws as well as the strength of connection to Old and New Testament biblical foundations. We also affirm our call to work in the spirit of love and unity, according to New Testament guidelines, with all true believers in our common ministry within the Kingdom of God.

WE BELIEVE:

*The Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (John 16:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).

*That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:18; Luke 3:22; John14:16).

*In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, (John 1:1, 14, 20:28-29; Philippians 2:6-11; Isaiah 9:6; Colossians 2:9)

*His virgin birth, (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:34-35; Isaiah 7:14)

*His sinless life, (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; 7:26-27; 1 John 3:5; 1 Peter 2:22)

*His miracles, (Matthew 4:23; Luke 6:17-19; John 3:2)

*His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, (Colossians 1:14, 20;Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 1:7)

*His bodily resurrection, (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Luke 24:4-7, 36-48; Revelation: 1:17-18)

*His ascension to the right hand of the Father, (Acts 2:23, 5:30-31; 1 Peter 3:22)

*His personal return in power and in glory, (Acts 1:11; Philippians 2:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13-18; John 14:1-3)

*That justification by faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man and that upon acceptance of Jesus Christ, we are entered into a covenantal relationship with Jesus (Romans 3:24-25; John 3:3-7; 1 John 5:11-13; Ephesians 2:1-16; Revelation 5:9; Acts 4:23; 1 Corinthians 6:11).

*That the prime agency for the work of God’s Kingdom is the Christian local church functioning under the sovereignty of our Lord Jesus Christ to fulfill the Great Commission of preaching the Gospel to make and baptize disciples of all nations. The church has been entrusted with the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Acts 1:6-8; 2:41-47, 16:4-5; Matthew 16:18, 28:18-20; Mark 15:15-16; Luke 24:44-49; John 20:21; Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; 1 Corinthians 12).

*In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit which includes: the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, as a distinct experience from regeneration; His indwelling whereby the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life; His supernatural gifting and empowering of the church for its work, life and worship (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4, 10:44-46; 1 Corinthians 12, 14).

*In a lifestyle and practice of ethical conduct and integrity consistent with the character of Jesus Christ and biblical standards (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 4:13-32; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11; 2:11-13; 3:9-11; 1 Peter 1:13-16).

*In the return of Jesus Christ, to consummate His Kingdom in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29; Mark 14:62; 2 Thessalonians 1:2-10; Revelation 1:5- 7; 20:4-5, 11-12).

*In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:11, 21-23; Romans 12:4- 5; Ephesians 4:11-16).

*In the Genesis account of creation and the Genesis account of the creation of Adam and Eve (Genesis 1-3).

*That at creation God instituted marriage for the well being of humanity, to bring forth children, created in God’s image, to enjoy the company, benefits as well as image of both their mother and their father (Genesis 2:20-24; Mark 10:6-9).

*That marriage is the joining of one man and one woman into a lifelong relationship which the Scriptures call “one flesh;” Sexual intercourse is God’s gift to humanity, for the intimate union of a man and woman within marriage; In this relationship, it is to be celebrative (Hebrews 13:4).

*That Marriage, between one man and one woman, is therefore the only proper setting for sexual intimacy and for raising children (Malachi 2:10-16; 4:6).

*That Scripture requires purity before and faithfulness within and following marriage; Likewise, it condemns all unnatural sexual behavior such as adultery, incest, child molestation, homosexual activity, prostitution, as well as other aberrant behavior (1 Corinthians 6:9; Romans 12:6-27).

*That marriage can only be the union of “one man and one woman” who have made a public covenant and vow before God (Genesis 2:20- 24; Mark 10:6-9).

*That it would be a breach of the doctrine of our church and ministry for ministers or members of Christ-Centered Ministries for Worldwide Worship, Inc., to conduct the marriage or blessing of a union between same-gender/genderless or multiples of people/objects, etc., in one marriage union-- either in co-habitation or any future legalized union attempting to depict a marriage. In light of our beliefs, ministers/members of Christ-Centered Ministries for Worldwide Worship, Inc., shall not perform marriages or unions of same-sex/same-gender/multiple-person couples or other genderless unions, or unions of under-aged or inappropriate-aged persons, nor use any property the ministry occupies for said events.

*Leadership within the ministry is a voluntary, priestly/covenant arrangement between Jesus, as High Priest and Head Shepherd and leadership to bless the sheep, and all those who need His help. All places of leadership within the ministry are to be filled and/or discontinued as described in accordance with the Scriptures seen in John 1:29; Luke 5:1-11; Matthew 4:18-22; Matthew 9:9-38; Mark 1:14-39; Acts 13:1-3; 1 Timothy 3 (as translated in the Greek); Romans 1; Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Ephesians 4; Ephesians 6:1-9.

*Lastly, these beliefs should not be construed to mean that ministry may not be given to people who find themselves in all sorts of situations the Bible does not condone. We believe in treating mankind with respect and dignity as we share the Bible and the true nature of the Living God. We, as a ministry are to be Christ’s hand extended to all those who find themselves in situations that the Bible does not condone; and through the power of the Holy Spirit, help anyone wishing to live in the freedom that belief in Jesus conveys, if that is their choice. Mankind is given a great responsibility by God in choosing life and choosing death; in choosing to live with God or choosing to live without Him. Likewise, we as a ministry are not here to force any individual to live or not live with Jesus. Each individual must make those decisions on their own. It is our desire to provide material spiritual help only as requested. Every aspect of this help is voluntary, on our part and/or the part of those who request such help and may be discontinued at any time, voluntarily on our part and/or on the part of those who request such help.
